Verification Methodology
What A Verified Firm Badge Means
A verified badge means Golden Visa Lawyers has reviewed identity and professional credential signals for the listing. It is not legal advice, a guarantee of outcome, or a substitute for your own due diligence.
What We Check
Identity
We check that the listed firm name, website, contact domain, and public profile are consistent.
Professional Registration
Where a firm presents itself as a law firm, lawyer-led practice, or regulated professional adviser, we look for bar, regulator, or professional-register evidence.
Insurance And Risk Signals
Where available, we record professional insurance or equivalent risk controls. Absence of an insurance signal does not automatically mean a firm is unsafe, but it is not from editorial review.
Review And Update Date
A verified profile should show when it was last checked. Verification can expire, be downgraded, or be removed if evidence becomes stale or contradictory.
What Verification Does Not Mean
Verification does not mean the firm is the right choice for every applicant, that fees are fixed, that a visa will be approved, or that every lawyer in the organisation has been individually checked.
When Badges Change
A badge may be removed or downgraded when registration evidence cannot be confirmed, a firm changes ownership or domain, material claims become stale, or a credible correction request shows that the profile needs review.
Ranking Is Separate
Verification answers whether a profile has enough evidence to carry a verified signal. Ranking considers comparative strength within a jurisdiction or programme.
