What we collect

Golden Visa Lawyers collects firm-account details, profile submissions, evidence records, aggregate profile events, sponsorship enquiries, billing identifiers returned by Stripe and information a prospective client deliberately submits through a GVL enquiry form.

Billing

Stripe hosts Checkout and the Customer Portal and processes payment, billing address, business and tax-ID information. Golden Visa Lawyers stores Stripe object identifiers and subscription status, not card details.

Website analytics

Golden Visa Lawyers uses Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand site usage and improve public pages. Ahrefs Web Analytics operates without browser cookies. It may process page URLs, referrers, browser and device information, language, approximate location, outbound-link clicks and qualifying form submissions, and derives a rotating daily pseudonymous visitor identifier from IP address and user-agent data. Ahrefs may use aggregated Web Analytics data to improve its services and traffic-estimation models. We do not use it for advertising.

Firm analytics

For paid profile-view and contact-click metrics, GVL converts the request's network address into a secret-keyed, rotating daily identifier on the server. The raw address is not written to the analytics event, callers cannot choose the deduplication identifier, and requests are rate-limited. Other marketplace events may use a random identifier held only in memory for the current page session. Neither identifier is an account ID or disclosed to firms. Advanced profile owners receive only aggregate 30- and 90-day counts for their own profile. These directional counts may still include some automated activity. One firm cannot access another firm's analytics.

Enquiry sharing

When GVL Match is enabled, a request requires explicit consent before submitted details may be shared with up to three suitable published firms that serve the selected country and programme. No firm is preselected. A selected firm receives only the details covered by that consent, through its secure owner inbox when available or its published firm contact channel. If no suitable firm is available, the request remains with GVL administration.

Within GVL Match, every destination stays inside the same questionnaire. Movingto and other related firms are assessed under the same published-firm rules as unrelated firms and receive GVL Match details only when the visitor actively selects them. GVL Match and concierge enquiries are not automatically routed into Movingto's Odoo, Slack, sheets or notification systems.

Public pages may also show an optional Golden Visa Lawyers enquiry invitation. Details submitted through that form remain in GVL's protected admin inbox for follow-up and are not automatically shared with a directory firm, Movingto or another provider. A designated GVL administrator receives an email notification that a new enquiry is available; the notification excludes contact details and free-text answers and links to the authenticated admin inbox.

Commercial-data separation

Advanced profile subscription records, Stripe identifiers, advertiser leads, sponsorship pricing and owner analytics are restricted to the owning firm where applicable and designated Golden Visa Lawyers commercial administrators or super-administrators. Editorial staff without commercial access and Movingto team accounts do not receive this commercial data, and it is not copied into Movingto-controlled systems.

Retention and requests

We retain records as needed to operate the directory, administer subscriptions, preserve consent and audit decisions, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Access, correction or deletion requests may be sent to sarah@goldenvisalawyers.com; some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.
