How Much Does Grenada Citizenship by Investment Cost?
National Transformation Fund (NTF): US$235,000 for a single applicant or a family of up to four; US$25,000 or US$50,000 for each additional dependant after the third; US$75,000 for each additional sibling. The family-of-four price does not cover siblings, or parents and grandparents aged 55 and under (IMA, becoming a citizen).
Approved project: US$270,000 paid to the developer's escrow account, plus a US$50,000 government contribution (IMA Circular No. 2 of 2024). The IMA fee table lists this route as "USD 350,000 / 270,000".
Per-person fees: application US$1,500; processing US$1,500 for each person aged 17 or over and US$500 under 17; interview US$1,000 for each person aged 17 or over, including a non-applicant spouse or sponsor.
Due diligence: the IMA fee table shows US$5,000 per person aged 17 or over, while the IMA FAQ says US$6,000. Ask your agent which figure applies before you pay.
Where Does the Grenada NTF Money Go?
The IMA publishes the split. Of the US$235,000 NTF contribution, at least US$200,000 stays with the government and up to US$35,000 can be paid to agents as commission. Of the US$270,000 approved-project investment, at least US$230,000 must go to construction and up to US$40,000 to agent commission (IMA Circular No. 2 of 2024). Ask any adviser what commission they receive on your file.
How Does a Grenada Application Work, and How Long Does It Take?
Grenada uses two tiers of agent. You work through an Authorised International Marketing Agent, who liaises with an Authorised Local Agent; the IMA says applicants may not contact local agents directly. The local agent submits the file, and investment payments go to that agent's escrow account (IMA, becoming a citizen).
Interviews are mandatory and held online. The IMA's FAQ says applications are approved within 60 business days of submission, subject to satisfactory due diligence and receipt of funds. There is no paid fast track, and you do not need to visit Grenada (IMA FAQ). On the NTF route you can apply for citizenship immediately, or take permanent residence first and apply for citizenship later.
Who Can Be Included in a Grenada Application?
The main applicant must be at least 18. Dependants who are financially dependent on the main applicant can be included: a spouse, children, parents, grandparents and siblings. The IMA sets no limit on the number of dependants (IMA FAQ).
